Enhancing Food Safety and Nutrition for Healthier Communities.

The project is being implemented in Kasese District focusing on 3 key objectives namely.

  1. To Educate farmers and food handlers on safe food production, processing, and handling techniques to reduce contamination risks.
  2. Increase Community Awareness about the importance of food safety and nutrition.
  3. To Promote the consumption of nutritious, locally available foods to improve dietary diversity and overall health.

This is being done through community awareness meetings, trainings of food vendors and handlers, inspections of markets and food stores, restaurants, engagement of local leaders among others.
